TruScript is a membership prescription plan. TruScript finds the right drugs at low prices and offers 200 drugs available at no cost!
When can I start using TruScript?
After completing enrollment, members will receive a welcome email that provides details about TruScript and immediate access to a member ID card and access to prescription savings.

What’s the American Advantage Association?
The American Advantage Association has been serving the interest of its individual and organization members since 1982 and we introduced our first TruScript prescription drug plan in 2003.
What makes TruScript different from other discount prescription services?
Discount cards offer reduced drug prices, but it’s hard to know how much you’ll actually save until you get to the pharmacy. Many discount cards have a “middleman” which increases each drug’s cost. TruScript has pre-negotiated, low, no “middleman” pharmacy prices - so members get the price online, at the pharmacy. TruScript also offers additional valuable services like prescription drug advisors and Preferred Price List.
What’s a ‘Preferred Drug Formulary’?
TruScript’s preferred drug formulary contains a list of brand-name and generic of the top prescribed drugs.
How do I do a drug search?
On the dashboard, simply type in a prescription drug in the search bar, select an option provided in the dropdown menu, enter zip code, search then select the prescription details that match the prescribed script. A list of pharmacies and prices will be provided, select a pharmacy and receive a prescription drug cad to present to the pharmacist.
Can I use TruScript even if I am insured?
Yes! Although TruScript can’t be combined with insurance, Medicare, Medicaid or state-funded programs, members may find that TruScript saves more money on prescriptions than what they currently use for drug savings. TruScript is NOT insurance.
What if I am having issues using my Pharmacy Card or Prescription Drug Card at the pharmacy?
If members are having any issues with using TruScript at the pharmacy, TruScript Advisors are ready to assist working with the member and/or pharmacist to find a solution.
What if I am having trouble finding my prescribed drug?
TruScript advisors will walk members through the process to assist in locating prescriptions or cheaper alternatives for the prescribed drug. TruScript advisors will do everything they can to help members get the most out of TruScript. (All members should speak with their doctor before choosing an alternative drug.)
